My Favorite EASY TO MAKE Review Games
We have all been there. We had elaborate plans for creating in-depth review games, but it just didn’t pan out. This is for you. The easiest review games ever! Most importantly, these games provide repetition and a fun option to review the content that they will need to be successful. I even use this occasionally as an introductory/formative assessment.
Here’s where you start:
Quizlet: flashcards, “LIVE” game mode for individuals and groups, and can be assigned to students.
Why I love it:-You can find existing lists for common topics, make a copy and then edit as needed before assigning.
-They have an actual quizzing option so you can print out quizzes for students.
-They can play individually or in groups.
-You can EXPORT the vocab lists/questions to the other two sites.Gimkit: This is a game that allows students to earn money or play other challenges. They have a bunch of new options for various games that you can play.
Why I love it:
-You can import the lists you made on Quizlet or create your own.
-The kids get super hyped about it.Blooket: This is a super similar game format to Gimkit, and the kids love this one too!
Why I love it:
-You can import the lists from Quizlet.
-The kids ask for this one by name! They love it.
Enjoy these games and the increased engagement! I like to use different ones each time so they don’t get bored with any one of the games.
