Book Cover Assessment
Do you have students who are creative? Are you looking untraditional ways to demonstrate understanding?
Part 1:
This resource asks students to identify a symbol, and find three pieces of evidence to back up that symbol’s use. Then, the students need to find five elements that could be an element in a cover for the book-with two relating directly to the symbol. Then, students will need to create a book cover relating to the symbol (rubric included)
Part 2:
There are prompts included asking students to use the evidence they collected in part one to complete an essay about the symbol (rubric included).
