Create a Travel Brochure Assessment
Would you want to visit the location of your book/unit? No? Even better. Give the students the opportunity to complete a travel brochure for their unit of study!
Part 1:
This resource asks students to identify a symbol, and find three pieces of evidence to back up that symbol’s use. Then, the students need to find locations/items that are from the novel. These locations should be important to the plot and can be demonstrated on the travel brochure.
Part 2:
There are prompts included asking students to use the evidence they collected in part one to complete an essay about the symbol (rubric included).
